Eyeglasses

_N_#16DFEyeglasses are becoming more and more a fashion accessory everyday. Once upon a time people only wore them for vision correction and little care was taken in their design to make them attractive. Over the years this has changed and now fashion runways sport various eyeglass frames as part of the package. Just as one might choose a necklace, earrings or other accessories eyeglasses are becoming more and more jewelry for the eyes. True, many people who wear them do so because they require vision correction, but not everyone does. Everyone from your average Joe to famous celebrities have chosen to wear eyeglasses with no correction simply because they like the look of a frame.

Frame shape is key to their appearance and really anything goes. You will see large, over the top sized frames and smaller more classic varieties. There are round shapes, and square shapes, if going with a rimless mount even custom shapes are available. If you can dream it, chances are an optical shop can cut it. The key to an attractive frame is matching it to the wearer. Frame shape is best when contrasting with the shape of the wearers face. Frame color is best when complimenting it. The frame should only touch the wearer at the bridge of the nose and the ears. It should not rise above the eyebrows or rest upon the wearer’s cheeks.
